Thank you for choosing Southside Dental. Our office is a Fee for Service office. What this means to you is we take payment from you at your appointment time. We will then electronically submit (as long as your provider allows us to) your claim to your insurance provider and they will directly reimburse you. If they do not accept electronic submissions we will mail it for you. This way the paper work is all done by us.
Dental Insurance:
Your dental benefits are a contract between you and your employer, therefore your benefits should be returned to you. We encourage you to read over the booklet provided to you by your employer when you became eligiable for your benefits.
Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but not all of the cost of your dental care. Most plans include a co-payment, and deductible. Insurance coverage is not, and never has been, a guideline for quality care.
