This is my story:
I have never really liked my teeth but felt that dentures was not the answer for me. I disliked having my picture taken as I didn't want to smile. I had not really pursued anything as I was not fully aware of the options and not ready to make the commitment required to change them. It had been my daughter who had brought the infromation about Lumineers to me since she had heard often from me that I was not happy with my teeth. They had always been very small and were getting worse as I aged. Once I read the information on the Lumineers I still was unsure if they would work for me due to the size of my original teeth. The process of finding out if this was a possibility was done with great care and respect from the staff at Southside Dental. I was so very glad that they were the ones helping me to get my smile back. I can't even explain how much having beautiful white teeth has meant to me. I smile all the time. My husband said that this has changed the way I look at myself. This is so very true. When asked what will I say to people about my teeth, I say "nothing" because they look like they were my original teeth. They are a perfect match for my mouth and face. My family has noticed a difference in me. I would recommend the care and respect of the Southside Dental family to anyone as they are so supportive and are so genuine about wanting to help everyone.

The look of my smile was always an issue for me, but I didn't want to be the kid with braces, and really didn't want to be the adult with braces. I thought that I was doomed to have crooked teeth, until I came across information about Lumineers, which allows people to keep their original teeth, and not have to have them filed down to pegs like other types of cosmetic dentistry. The whole process of getting my Lumineers was easy, and I never even needed any freezing or pain management medication, it never hurt! Now that my Lumineers are in place, my smile looks great, and people are always complimenting me. The results make it look like I had braces for years, but I didn't have to go through all of that! My Lumineers look natural, feel the same as regular teeth, and have given me a confidence I was lacking in the past. Thank you so much!

All my life I have faithfully gone to the dentist which shows by how many fillings I have! I have a severe gag reflex which makes dental visits uncomfortable. I recently started having problems with a lower molar and the dentist I was seeing said it had a crack and that I would probably need a root canal. I knew that there was no way that I could handle a root canal so I started looking around for a dentist who had experience with patients with gag reflex problems. My first visit with Dr. Stevens was a pleasant experience. He was very knowledgeable in dealing with gag reflex problems and explained what was going to be done every step of the way with the nitrous oxide sedation. The cracked tooth now has a crown and I have gone on to have a filling done also with sedation. My last appointment was for a cleaning. I was able to have this procedure done without the use of the nitrous oxide because of how knowledgeable the hygienist was. I found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful whether it was booking appointments or dealing with our insurance company. I would highly recommend Southside Dental. Now going to the dentist is not such an anxiety-filled visit.

Last fall, at almost 69, I entered and won a premier talent competition which gave me the courage to enter the Red Rivre Ex Senior Idol Competition this past June, which I won as well. Now I had attracted the attention of radio, press and various media personalities who strongly encouraged me to make a cd. With that in mind, I wrote over twenty country songs and discovered I had a talent for writing.
Who would have thought!! I will be seventy years of age next month and I am in the middle of recording a country cd of my own original songs with a well-known producer and back by some of Canada's best musicians. I have press coverage and radio interviews and newly hectic life!! Now I also wanted healthy teeth and a white smile for my new cd cover and publicity pictures.
Thank you to Southside Dental Centre for enhancing my smile. Dr. Brad Stevens and his personable and capable staff went the extra mile to complete my dental work in the short time frame I gave them. Before I started I was extremely nervous, however from my first visit my fear quickly dissipated due to the manner in which I was treated by Dr. Stevens and his assistants Brooke and Tara. I can honestly say that all of the procedures were pain-free and very well done and the staff do their utmost to address every client's individual needs. I never thought I would ever say that I actually looked forward to going to the dentist! But, I knew that every visit meant I was getting closer to my goal. I strongly urge everyone not to let advancing age or fear of dental procedures hold you back from achieving a healthy smile. It is so worth it!

In my late 20's I work braces for 2 years and my teeth straightened out. I noticed in my late 40's that my teeth were shifting back. After checking online about Invisalign I decided at the age of 50 to make a phone call and try out the Invisalign program. I was a successful candidate and will be starting with the Invisalign program.
